Adele is a Partner based in Singapore and is part of the Financial Accounting Advisory Services team. The practice is a dedicated accounting service which acts as an independent sounding board, assists in thinking through complex accounting matters, streamlining accounting and finance process and controls and developing digital solutions in the finance function.
Adele has over 20 years of experience in both Accounting Advisory projects and the audits of Singapore and many listed companies and other multinational clients under IFRS, U.S. GAAP and Singapore FRS (SFRS).
She is experienced in leading the project management office (PMO) role for various large Accounting Advisory projects relating to IFRS conversion and accounting standard implementation. Some of the other key projects she was involved in under Accounting Advisory include U.S. GAAP conversions, revenue contract reviews, IPO readiness, process and controls streamlining and digital solutions in the finance function.
She is also involved in projects that involve financial process and controls assessment and improvement. The projects include finance and accounting process gap assessment and implementation (which includes identification of automation opportunities and implementation) as well as accounting integration of target’s accounting standards, processes and policies to the acquirer.
She is also experienced in leading engagements involving initial public offerings, and familiar with the listing requirements in Singapore. She has also led Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 (SOX 404) assurance projects and IFRS conversion projects.
Her audit experience include coordinating and leading multi-location audits and experience with large conglomerates with diverse businesses. Her experience in coordinating large audits include advising her clients on their financial control weaknesses and providing recommendations for implementation.
Her industry experience encompasses retail, food and beverage, airlines, shipping and manufacturing.
