Joselito Diga or “Lito” is the Chief Financial Officer of Unilab Health Group, a leading healthcare group with interests in pharmaceuticals, personal care, health services and animal nutrition.
Prior to his current role, Lito handled various corporate finance and accounting roles in Pilipinas Shell Petroleum, Novartis Healthcare, Oracle Asia Pacific, Kraft Foods Southeast Asia and Caltex (now Chevron). He also had stints in external audit and management consulting in SGV & Company and Punongbayan and Araullo as well as in academe as a Faculty member of the Australian National University in Canberra, Australia and San Beda College of Arts & Sciences in Manila.
Lito is a graduate of San Beda College where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting, Summa cum laude, and of the Australian National University, Canberra where he earned his PhD in Commerce and Graduate Diploma in Accounting as a university scholar. Lito is a Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, where he placed 3rd in the licensure examinations of October 1988. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in Australia since 2003. He is active in various professional and civic organizations including the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Association of CPAs in Commerce and Industry; Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines; Management Association of the Philippines. In 2022, he was also appointed as a member of the Financial Reporting Standards Council as representative of Commerce and Industry.
