Speaker Bio:

Francis joined the Far East Group Limited in 2011 to help the Group’s listing on the SGX-Catalist Board.  He currently holds the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Sustainability Council Lead and Company Secretary of the Group. Prior to joining the Group, he spent more than a decade in the semiconductor industry, taking on a wide spectrum of finance and accounting roles in financial and management accounting and M&A. 

Francis has extensive experience across various finance and business partnering functions, from FP&A, developing policies and procedures, review of risk and management processes and internal controls. He is also involved in strategising growth, overseeing due diligence studies and M&A processes in business expansion plans.  

Francis started his career as an entrepreneur in the education industry while studying for his Bachelor of Arts degree in the National University of Singapore. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore (FCA Singapore) and a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).
