Ong Hui Giap is the CFO for the South East Asia & India Region at Coface. In this role, she is pivotal in business planning and budgeting, stress testing, own risk and solvency assessments (ORSA), business continuity management, and internal controls. She also oversees management and regulatory reporting, investment and cash management, finance operations, procurement procedures, and corporate tax compliance.
Hui Giap holds a degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, and a degree in Applied Psychology from Cardiff Metropolitan University. She is a Chartered Accountant (CA) in both Singapore and Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ). With nearly 20 years of experience in financial reporting, finance operations, corporate governance, and both internal and external audit, particularly in the life insurance industry, Hui Giap brings a wealth of expertise to her role.
