1. Who we are

We are a business events and media company registered in Singapore (151 Chin Swee Road #08-06, Manhattan House, Singapore 169876), producing conferences, executive experiences and digital publications across Asia through our brands — DigitalCFO Asia, CIOWorld Asia, DigitalHR Asia, Marketing ReDefined Asia and AI Enterprise Asia.

We act as the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Where we process data on behalf of clients or event partners (for example, registration lists they provide), we act as a data processor and handle that data only on their documented instructions.

2. Data we collect

Information you give us. When you register for an event, subscribe to a newsletter, request a partnership, submit a speaking or hosting enquiry, or contact us, we collect the details you provide — typically your name, work email address, job title, company, country and phone number, plus any message you send us.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our websites we collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and referring source, so we can keep the sites working and understand which content is useful.

Event photography. At our live events we may take photographs and record video. Where reasonably possible we will display notice of this at the venue; if you would prefer not to appear in our event media, speak to any member of our on-site team.

3. How we use it

We use personal data to:

• Process event registrations, invitations, badges and attendance;
• Respond to enquiries and manage partnerships, sponsorships and contracts;
• Send you information about our events, publications and brands — you can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by contacting us;
• Improve our websites, programmes and marketing through analytics and audience insights;
• Meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We only send marketing communications where we have your consent or where the law permits us to contact you about similar services you have already engaged with.

4. Sharing your data

We never sell personal data. We share it only with the parties who need it to deliver what you've asked for: service providers who host our registration platforms, email tools, analytics and CRM systems; sponsors or partners of a specific event, only where you have explicitly opted in to share your details with them; and professional advisers or authorities where the law requires it.

Where data leaves your country — including to our teams and vendors across the Asia-Pacific region — we put appropriate safeguards in place, such as contractual clauses and data transfer assessments, consistent with the Singapore PDPA and applicable regional data protection laws.

5. Cookies

Our websites use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, measure site performance and understand the reach of our campaigns. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; restricting them may affect some site features.

6. Retention & security

We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes above — for example, registration records are retained to administer the event and for post-event follow-up, and business contact records for as long as our relationship is active. After that, data is securely deleted or anonymised.

We protect personal data with access controls, encryption in transit and staff training, and we review those measures regularly. If a data breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.

7. Your rights

You may ask us to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, withdraw consent, or request its deletion, subject to legal exceptions. To exercise any of these rights, email us and we will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
